I’ve begun to practice “Hemi-Sync – The Gateway Experience” from the Robert Monroe Institute. I’m on Day 3 of the “Wave I – Discovery” exercises. I wear earphones to receive the binaural sounds targeted towards my left and right ears… gentle tones, sounds of waves, or an airplane flying by. Together with the facilitator’s guided meditation, after the first three exercises, I can easily put my body to sleep while remaining mentally awake. To my surprise, I can do this with minimal thought interference.
During this morning’s 36-minute hemi-sync exercise, I leave my body behind and float into expansive existence for some time. The only problem is since it’s a guided meditation, there is not much room in between his instructions to explore Quantum or try to reach out to loved ones. After I finish his exercise and take a stretch break, I close my eyes and start a new meditation, without light or sound, and seek the Quantum door, temple, mirror, and field.
Today, the door appears to me on the left side of an airplane gently gliding left through the blue sky. The door is arched metal. Once I press inside, I notice white empty seats, and then the whole inside becomes night sky and stars. I look towards the cockpit and realize this is the location of the temple. At first, it expands in all directions, like an inflating bounce house or baked bread, rounding into shape, beyond the size of the cabin. Soon, I see white clouds and wide stairs rising higher into the sky. The temple is now Mt. Olympus, home of the Greek gods & goddesses. Inside the temple, it’s a darkened throne room with a wooden floor.
When I ask to see a mirror, a small stool appears in the middle of the room. A soft light illuminates an antique hand mirror laying on it. I hold the mirror in my right hand and inside I see myself, as I am today, except a well-to-do version. My hair is freshly cut and styled, colored and highlighted. I wear jewelry and nice clothes. I feel like royalty and fancy myself engaged in fundraising events for good causes. I imagine this could be me if I allow myself to become it or to claim it. Next, I look for the back door to the energy field. I find the door across the room to the left. I go outside to see the same beautiful swishing energy fibers everywhere; but, by now I am tired and not making any connections. I end the meditation.
For the past few days, I have heard you come to me in passing moments, not necessarily during meditation, to say, “I’m ready,” which I assume is you ready to try channeling, but we’re both still not sure how to facilitate this communication.
